That is how I would describe ABATE of Wisconsin’s Lobby Day 2025. Success. Time will tell as the legislators absorb the information that ABA

2026 MRF Bikers in the Beltway My story about the MRF 2026 Bikers in the Beltway started by leaving early on Thursday, May 14, on my Suzuki Boulevard so I could have a day or two to stay with my friends, Craig and Fran, who live In Alexandria (2 miles away from BITB Hotel). Craig actually stays in his cabin in Shawano County about 2 miles from me. I asked Craig if he would take me to my old church and home in Southern Maryland and he did. Do you know who Samuel Mudd is? Guest Report - July 2026
Bikers Inside The Beltway 2026 What a great honor it was to be one of the representatives from Wisconsin to attend Bikers Inside The Beltway. A group of us left Pleasant Prairie on our motorcycles Sunday Morning, spent the night in Ohio, and arrived at the hotel on Monday in Alexandria, VA. This year was especially meaningful as it was my first time attending as the Wisconsin State Representative, joined by a team of 12 members from ABATE of Wisconsin, including at least one first-time attendee. Whether you believe in fate or not, the Highway Bill dropped while

Guest Report - July 2026
Conference Reports: It was a sunny Friday morning, about 60 degrees. Bryan and I had just run up through Superior, Duluth, up the shore of Lake Superior on our way to Thunder Bay. “Hi, what brings you to Canada today? Where ya going? How long ya staying? Got reservations anywhere? Do you have any fruits or vegetables with you? Any live animals? Alcohol or tobacco? Firearms or ammunition? Those are some interesting patches. Tell me about those!” Well, these on my left are

Business Agent Report - July 2026
I want to thank Diane Swanson, Region 1J, for finding an error in the new gaming licenses fees. Laurie Thompson let me know that Diane was able to renew her class B license for $25. Even though the state announced the increase to $50 for renewals and new licenses there was a legislative fiscal error when the statutes were updated allowing renewal fees to stay $25. So, when your region renews, attempt to pay just the former $25 fee as this has not yet been changed. A huge w
