Safety Report - November 2026

November 2026
As I write this the last class of the year is starting. We have had a good year with many students and two possible new instructors wanting to join us. Next week I’ll be hauling bikes to the shop for the winter and storing equipment. I’ve already done my part to make the highway safer by harvesting an eight-point buck. I’ll keep working on that for does.
I got word this week that Congressman Derrick Van Orden is hosting two motorcycle rides around his district in the next week before the election. I hope some of our members turn out to support the man who supports Right to Work and the Definition of a Motorcycle bills.
By the time most of you read this the election will be over, and we will know who we will be dealing with in Madison and Washington. I hope and pray that it is freedom loving people.
There is still time to get out and enjoy the fall riding in Wisconsin. I’ve had a couple 200 mile day rides lately. The temperature is great and the autumn scenery is beautiful. Watch out for deer and leaves on the road. Early morning shaded areas can also have frosty roads. Get it while we can, it may be a long winter.
Happy Thanksgiving, we Americans have much to be thankful for.
Ride Safe,
Gary
