Hi everyone. I am Cathy, your new State Rep for the Motorcycle Riders Foundation. Just a little about me for those who haven’t met me yet. I am a proud Wisconsinite who is living life at full throttle at 50. I’ve spent much of my life caring for others as a dedicated nurse — it’s more than just a career; it is truly a calling. When I’m not working at the bedside, you’ll find me fueling my passion for fragrance as an independent Scentsy Consultant, helping people create cozy, personalized spaces that feel like home.
I’m also deeply committed to rider rights and safety. I proudly serve ABATE of Wisconsin as Regional Rep for Milwaukee and Racine Counties. In my 8 years with the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, I have been working to protect the freedoms of motorcyclists and support the riding community I love. I have the pleasure of sharing our story with everyone around me and encouraging them to support us on the journey to protect our way of life.
Fall is quickly approaching here in Wisconsin, but the riding season is far from over. The colorful foliage and crisp air bring out the best in Wisconsin’s roads. Enjoy the curves and hills with less traffic. Make sure you ride more deliberately, watching for wildlife that will start moving with the earlier sunsets. Wear whatever gear you feel is needed. It’s all about Personal Choice.
On the national level, the MRF just wrapped up Meeting of the Minds in Shreveport, Louisiana. This annual gathering of Freedom Fighters from across the country is a top-notch way to fill your cup with all the up-to-date topics affecting motorcyclists. Stay tuned for great articles about everyone’s experience. Wisconsin will be hosting this event in 2026, which I encourage everyone to attend.
Stay vigilant, Ride with Purpose, and make sure to take off work on February 17th for Lobby Day.
See you soon.
