Membership Director - January 2026

Krissy Bowe
Bill Roberge

We are working on some new things to increase our membership base by increasing our presence on social media platforms. This will help us reach more prospective members and all age groups.

Membership dues are what keeps our organization going. As the price of everything goes up, we need to respond by increasing membership. The best way of doing this is for all of us to talk face-to-face to people. They don’t have to be bikers. Some of the things we are fighting for cross over to a lot of different situations. I have said this before but just think about it. If every one of our members brought in ONE new member in the next 12 months, our membership problems would be solved. No matter how uncomfortable you are talking to people, you should be able to get one new member in the next 365 days. If I can do it, you can do it.

We are also going to be working on membership retention. ABATE loses too many first, second, and third year members. We will be talking about this in more detail at Officer Training, so I hope to see you there. Please bring your ideas about membership and retention of those new members to the meeting and share them with us.

Your homework? Go find that new member. I will see you at Officer Training next month.
