Great job regions who are setting up at other local events in your community! I love seeing the pictures. When you are doing these events, I encourage you to take some notes on what caught people's attention, what giveaway items were a hit, and what your selling points are when talking to potential members. After the event, share those within your region and share them to events@abatewis.org.

In late July, some of your communities will already be hosting their National Night Out. I did get feedback that there were 2 that said thanks, but no thanks. Please make sure to list that on the Feedback card in your kits. If your region was able to get in at more than 1 event and you need a 2nd kit, please let me know. We have extras! Here is the plan recap. Grab the backpack, the marketing items are inside the big pocket. From home you'll need: A container for the enter to win slips. A bowl with water and a sponge or rag to apply the tattoos to the kids. Some of your region's membership brochure supply. A motorcycle that kids can sit on. Depending on the community you may need a table and a few chairs. Some communities supply these. At the event just be friendly, say hi, ask the kids if they want to sit on the bike, offer a tattoo, and then tell them what ABATE does while the kids are getting the tattoos on. Make sure to draw the winner & call quick from the event so that they can get it right away. After the event, sign & personalize the card and send it to those who organized the event. Then fill out the feedback card and drop it in the mail to me. Your feedback will help me plan for the future. Also, during the event please ask families if it would be ok to take a picture and then send them to events@abatewis.org! I look forward to seeing all the pictures and getting feedback from all of you!
