ABATE Acres Report
Thanks so much to the 43 people who came to Land Warming to get the land ready for the Hummer! What a great turn out! The majority of our projects were completed in time to have a little “fun” when we were all done.
A big thank you to those who contributed to the new picnic tables that will be placed under the food pavilion this Hummer season! They are very well built and should last us for a long time.
We have another new addition to the land. A PA System was purchased that will let us make announcements that can be heard all across ABATE Acres not only during the Hummer, but anytime we need to let members know of any emergency situation such as a bad storm brewing. This was accomplished through donations to the Dan Frantz fund, so thank you to our generous members who contribute to that fund on a regular basis. This fund supports improvements to the land because we don’t use general funds to improve any aspects of ABATE Acres.
