Bikers In The Beltway

Bikers in the Beltway for 2026 is now history. Everything went well, and it was a great success.

We were told there were many more participants this year. It sure seemed that way. It was done the same as last year with Steve Panten setting up the meetings with various Congressmen and Senators. He should get a trophy for this! We went to the Capitol, and everyone split into their designated groups. We were all on the same page and it worked well. The meetings were held and the majority of them were with the Congressmen and Senators. I did not see any Congresswomen, but I am sure they were there too. I did see Congressman Derrick Van Order get his vest from the MRF for the Legislative Champion. It was great to see this, and yes, he does give out beer and cheese to anyone who stops in his office. (Miller Lite) The ride home got a little wet, but clothes do dry. It was all set up well and a good time was had by all.
