Another Officer Training is in the books, and some time was spent discussing gaming licenses.  It was emphasized that 50/50 drawings can now be done with either the Class A or Class B gaming license. A refresher going over what is covered on each license, how all drawings must be performed using paper tickets, and that the licenses are now at a cost of $50 each. This prompted me to ask each region to determine if they need both an A and B license. A question about retention and tracking all winning tickets for 50/50 drawings and basket raffles was asked and after researching the state website it has been confirmed, all tickets used for drawings must be matched and saved, no matter how small the prize is. These can be retained at the local level by the Treasurers or sent to Laurie Thompson.
