Meetings: Second Saturday of each month at 1 pm. April 12th – at Schmitts Corners (Cty C/J - Iola)

 

As the snow melts and warmer weather approaches, we are excited for the start of a new riding season! Our March meeting was a great success, with 14 attendees, including a new member. Please join us in welcoming Bill to 2F—we’re glad to have you in our region!

 

As we prepare for our first rides of the season, we discussed the importance of safety, particularly at intersections and turns where gravel and salt may still be present. County crews should be addressing this soon, but if these hazards persist over the next few weeks, please let us know so we can reach out to the local road dept. For those who haven't yet, we highly encourage signing up for the Road Guardians Course at www.roadguardians.org. This course provides essential training on handling emergencies before professional help arrives. This is sponsored by the WI DOT and may help save someone’s life!

 

We are thrilled to welcome new businesses into our network: Back to Vinyl (Manawa), Lakeshore Winery (Townsend), Northside Foods & Gifts (Manawa). Thank you to Cheezy for bringing them on board—we appreciate their support and partnership!

 

Join us for our annual 2F Event at Silver Lake Lanes (Scandinavia) on May 10th, starting at noon for 9-pin bowling. This is a public, family-friendly event featuring great prizes and a silent auction. Cost: $20 adults, $10 for attendees 18 and under. Team Sign-ups & Volunteers Needed: Please reach out if you’d like to register or assist on event day. Before the event, we will hold our monthly meeting at 11 am, during which you will also vote for the Regional Rep. for 2F. Member participation is encouraged!

 

Meeting Schedule Update: Going forward, our monthly meetings will now be held on the second Saturday of each month at 1 pm, allowing district and board members to attend. The only exception will be in May, when our meeting will be held before the event. Thank you for your flexibility in adjusting to this new schedule. We are currently seeking candidates for open officer positions and are pleased to have had interested individuals step forward. We look forward to discussing the next steps and confirming these roles soon. Thank you all for your continued support and participation.
