ABATE Region 2F Meeting Update

As Region 2 Regional rides come to a close for this year, Region 2F recently convened to discuss critical legislative shifts and upcoming regional events affecting the motorcycling community. The August session focused heavily on legislative advocacy and organizational growth as the region prepares for a busy autumn season. The meeting addressed several key legislative developments, including a comprehensive update on the Right to Repair initiative. Members reviewed the ongoing Right to Repair survey, took copies to pass out, and discussed the implications of the John Deere settlement. These developments are seen as pivotal for preserving the ability of motorcycle owners to access diagnostic information and tools to work and maintain their own vehicles.

 

MRF - Meeting of the Minds is scheduled to take place in Brookfield from September 24–27. This event offers a unique opportunity for members to connect with hundreds of passionate individuals sharing a common purpose. Volunteers are asked to reach out to Dawn.

 

Looking ahead, the region will be holding votes for open leadership roles during the September meeting. Members are encouraged to attend and participate in these elections to help shape the future direction of Region 2F. State level elections are also being held this year. Please see your newsletter for voting options and ballots.

 

The region also celebrated organizational growth, with two new members from Waushara County officially signing up during the meeting. Welcome to the 2F family! Additionally, the group is currently working on plans for a future chili cookoff stay tuned!

 

The upcoming monthly meetings for ABATE Region 2F are scheduled for:

 

●             September 12, 2026: 1 pm at Union Still – Symco

●             October 10, 2026: 1 pm at Johann's - Coloma
