Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from 2F!

 

We had a great December meeting with 12 members in attendance and three guests. Thank you to everyone who brought a dish to contribute to our holiday spread, and to those who braved the cold weather and kept warm with us at Just Another Bar.

 

During the meeting, we discussed our disappointment with S.B. 184, The Right to Choose Your Power Source, being vetoed by the Governor. However, we also celebrated the CAFE reset at the federal level. We will be watching for the public hearing on S.B. 124, Right to Repair.

 

February will be a busy month for our group, with both Lobby Day and Officer Training scheduled. Please be sure to check your emails and newsletters for your bus schedule and additional details.

 

New business includes plans to collaborate with local businesses and towns to coordinate our groups and participate in local car shows, festivals, and benefits in 2026. We will also be hosting summer rides and meetings at our fun run stops, as well as partnering with neighboring regions to coordinate a larger ride this summer. Stay tuned for more details and stop locations.

 

We also reviewed the new ways to order products—either online, through our product representative, or directly through me if you’re not comfortable ordering online.
