Happy Summer from 1F Waukesha.

The Pledge of Allegiance always starts out our meeting. We then pay our respects with a moment of silence for our Brothers and Sisters who are no longer with us. We also pay our respects for all those Men and Women who serve and protect 24/365!
Region 1F Report BuellBob.
Thank you to everyone for showing up.
Summer Hummer was the hot topic at our meeting. It’s our time to get together with our ABATE family and have some fun. Let’s hope we have great weather this year. We then started talking about what it would be like to have our 1F family make plans for next year. Have a camping compound and enjoy the festivities. So, we are going to start planning for next year’s Summer Hummer.
Our next meeting is after the 4th of July. So, we talked about 250 years of freedom in our America. This truly is a milestone for our Country. That history was placed with heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. So, celebrate 250 years of America!
Treasury Report - Bob T. We are doing well from our 50/50 and are up to date. Thanks Bob T.
Legislative Report - Julie B. Julie called on Mike M. to give everyone what he experienced at Washington D.C for Bikers In The Beltway. It was quite informative and I appreciated Mike’s report. Thanks, Mike M. and Julie B.
Membership Report - Warner. Unfortunately, Warner was not able to attend. Hopefully, next month Warner will update us.
Products Report - Janet S. Janet brought her laptop and showed everyone how easy it is to order products online. Thanks, Janet S.
As I have said, it's 250 years since we became the United States of America! I remember as a kid going to the 4th of July parades and picnics. It was a special time to be a kid. As years passed it was still a special time for me. Unfortunately, so many things have changed in our Country. I have said, this isn’t the America I grew up in. Back then it didn’t matter who you voted for. Everyone just enjoyed getting together at a BBQ and enjoying life. We never heard of the amount of violence that we have today. Just because you voted for someone that someone else didn’t, they call you names and hate you. In some cases, it sparks violence towards one another. I’m sure our forefathers could not imagine what we have become. Some say our Country will never be United. Maybe it's the way I was raised, but I still believe in the spirit of America. I’ve seen bits and pieces of us being United. 9/11 unified us all and for a while, we were one Country. Unfortunately, that faded away and we lost that Spirit. There have been moments since then, but like yesterday’s news, it fades away. I will always believe in America and pray to God that someday, somehow that spirit will return.
Remember to stay updated on a weekly basis. You can always check out our Facebook page for 1F TGIF. I try to keep you updated on information and safety tips.
Next meeting is July 7th at Foxx View Lanes 2240 W. Sunset, Waukesha the “Sha”
