Greetings from 1F Waukesha.

The Pledge of Allegiance always starts out our meeting. We then pay our respects with a moment of silence for our Brothers and Sisters who are no longer with us. We also pay our respects for all those Men and Women who serve and protect 24/365!

 

Region 1F Report BuellBob.

Since our riding season is over, we are planning to have a District 1 get together over the winter. DuckPin Bowling is being planned for January. I’m working with Julie from 1H to coordinate place, date and time. Bowling at Fox View in February is in the planning stages as well. Our annual Curling get together in March is set for Saturday the 28th. The location is the Kettle Moraine Curling Club in Hartland. 9-12 pm. $20.00 dollars gets you training and playing. Please bring a dish to pass for lunch. Once the other events are set, they will be posted on 1F's Facebook for TGIF. So, stay informed!

 

Christmas Party was set and we are inviting everyone to come join us for holiday cheer and good food. Please bring a dish to pass to show off your cooking abilities. It will be on December 2nd at Foxx View Lanes in Waukesha. Our meeting will be short but informative. This will give us more time to socialize. Nothing like being with family for a Christmas gathering.

Treasury Report Bob T. Bob reported that we are in the black. Thank you, Bob T.,

 

Membership Report Werner. Werner was reading off names of those on the renewal list. Some of us knew a couple on the list and will help Werner contact them so they get renewed. Thank you, Werner.

 

Legislative Report Julie. Unfortunately, Julie reported that Governor Evers vetoed our SB 184. We were informed as to why it was vetoed. That sparked a discussion on what our next move is, and Governor Evers isn’t running in the next election. We need to make sure the next Governor has a better understanding of our motorcycle rights. Thank you, Julie.

 

Products Report Janet. Janet informed us that we now can go online to order our ABATE merchandise. Hopefully, we will be seeing more ABATE products being worn. Thank you, Janet.

 

We have reached the last month of the year. Congratulations on your success in navigating the last 11 months. If you look back to January 1st I bet you will see it wasn't easy. Four weeks from now it all starts over again. But until then, spend time with family and friends. Celebrate Christmas as it was meant to be. Family and friends are a part of your life. So, as you continue your journey please let them know what they mean to you.

 

From my family to yours. A very Merry Christmas! Hope Santa brings you everything you deserve. Let’s also remember the reason for the season. For unto us a child is born!
