Well folks, we had a great meeting this month. There was a lively discussion on options available for the cookoff proceeds. They will be used for some regional expenses with the majority going back to The ABATE mothership.

 

Everyone was reminded that if you can spare some time to help your favorite politician, please do so. We need our friends back in Madison. Our region is fortunate to be able to count on support from both sides of the isle on many issues. Let’s keep those relationships intact. I hope you read Steve Panten’s article on The Autonomous Vehicle testing facility he and John visited. Very interesting how perception plays into the definition of success. I hope we can be successful in slowing the roll until this technology is ready for prime time. Please keep talking with people about this and Right to Repair. These two issues alone are affecting the lives and future prosperity of everyone you know.

 

Our state is hosting the MRF Meeting of the Minds in September this year. We are looking for some of your time, talent and /or treasure to make this a successful event. Take a look at your calendar and let me know how, if, and when, you can help.

 

Hey, that reminds me. It’s election season for ABATE also. Our regional election will be in August. The timeline for statewide positions is in the newsletter. I hope you all take the time to vote in all the elections you can. You can bring your ABATE ballots to a meeting, and I will mail them for you. Fill out the ballots carefully and completely. Thank you all for being a part of this great Freedom Machine. Freedom requires participation. You are making a difference.
