Meetings: 1st WEDNESDAY at 6:30 pm –The Brat Stop, I94 & Hwy 50.

Wishing a belated Merry Christmas to all. Our December meeting was very relaxing and a nice recap of the year. Everyone was reminded we must stay engaged in our personal circles. Let our friends and family know the Power Plant Choice and Right to Repair issues are THEIR issues. These pieces of legislation we are pursuing will affect every citizen of our state. We are not against any form of energy. We simply want the choice to decide what kind of device works best for our circumstances. It’s always been about freedom and it still is. Sound Familiar?

Today is the day to sign up for Call To Action's. Forward them to friends and family, it’s easy. If we cannot get the job done it’s entirely possible you will have no choice in the future. We frequently have to wait days for some car repairs already. Can you even imagine the wait time if there are no local "mom and pop" repair facilities available? How many of our citizens can afford to have their own personal "loaner car" in the driveway. AB135/SB129 are our Right to Repair bills waiting for a public hearing. Will you please be ready to help us help you deliver this important freedom legislation? People keep saying it will never happen but please pay attention. It already is. I hear some car manufacturers require computer input, of some kind, to simply change brake pads.

Our region’s members have been attending a couple motorcycle related court cases in our area this past year. A big thank you to all who took time out (9 hearings in Racine) to let people see we are paying attention. We can make a difference.

Our soup/dessert cookoff is scheduled for April 18th at the Kenosha Beer Gardens, noon to 3 pm-ish. Please mark your calendars and join us for something different than chili madness. We do consider chili as a soup if you just can't stand it.

Stay Free in the Wind.

Mike
