Meetings: 1st Sunday of the month at Racer’s Hall, W4408 CR-C, Plymouth, 12 Noon. 

 

Our meeting was held on October 4th at Racers Hall in Plymouth. The meeting started with a Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for our fallen Brothers and Sisters.

 

I read the Secretary report from last month's meeting. Julie read the membership report with some members due.

Nate has yard signs and membership brochures available. Jen gave the Treasurer’s report. We sent in the money taken to the Marlene Bautch fund. This was in memory of "Bug". We renewed our raffle license and purchased the tickets for the Brat fry.

 

Nate reminded everyone to get out and vote on November 3rd. You can look up what is happening at Legis.Wisconsin.Gov.

Right to repair surveys are still available.

 

Jen gave the MRF report. Jen mentioned the Call to actions have been a little bit of a challenge. One being the helmet law for Washington DC. This was due to the software company that was contracted by the MRF going bankrupt. They do have a new company to handle this now.

 

The Products report was given by Keith. There will be products available at Officers training.

 

In old business, the Meeting of the Minds was on September 24-27th and had a great turnout with almost 400 attendees.

The Marlene Bautch Memorial Fund is seeking donations. These funds will go to the new building that will replace the "Brown Palace" at ABATE Acres. Michael Hupy and associates have pledged a funds match!

 

October 17th-18th is land closing at ABATE acres.

Nate was nominated as the Regional rep for 2A. Congratulations, Nate!

Officers training is February 26th-28th at Hotel Marshfield.

 

We are looking for donations for the Brat fry and also volunteers to help on January 30th , 2027, at Racers Hall in Plymouth.

 

In the members forum, Nate asked everyone if they knew what a BSO is. AKA bicycle shaped object. He explained that there are many different forms which need to be classified in their own categories. We need to get involved to create a definition.

 

Next meetings on November 1st, December 6th, January 3rd, and February 7th.
