Summer Hummer Report - November 2025

The Word of the Month is Again SPONSORSHIPS

Sponsorship packets went out in October to our list of sponsors for the 2026 Summer Hummer. Packets were also distributed to your Regional Representatives during the Annual Meeting held last month. Included in those packets were some sponsorship brochures, 2026 magnets, and an explanation of how the sponsorship program works. As said last month, we do this in the fall to allow sponsors to decide on their level of sponsorship and give them the opportunity to complete the application and send it into the office with payment by the deadline of December 31st, 2025. By making that deadline our sponsors will be included on our Summer Hummer posters that are printed in January for distribution in February. It’s a tight turnaround for printing. If you know of any sponsor who may be interested in helping us out, you can clip out the application form that is printed in this newsletter to use. One other thing…. we accept sponsors for as little as $100. The $100 sponsors are mentioned in the newsletter, online, and in our event booklets, but are not printed on our posters. We also accept sponsors after the deadline, just be sure they are aware that they will not be listed on our posters/flyers if they commit after the printing deadline of December 31st, 2025. They will be included in the newsletter and, online, and in our event booklets.

Worm has now finalized the bands that will bedazzle us during the Hummer weekend. First up on Thursday at 5 pm is the Shady Glen Band then Thursday at 9 pm Bobby Evans and the Alimony Blues Band. Next on Friday at 5 pm is Jack Damage followed by Enuf Said at 9 pm. Saturday brings us Tuck Pence at 1 pm, Los Guys at 5 pm and Bad Mother Truckers at 9 pm. The new tradition continues on Sunday with Libra Union playing at noon for those staying to clean up the grounds. What a line-up!

Time to start thinking about a Hummer T-shirt design. Send your ideas to either Worm or Betty by January 31st so committee judging can take place during the Officer Training weekend the beginning of February. And it’s not too soon to plan for your campsite theme. Our regions are getting pretty savvy and creative when it comes to the campsite contest. This all comes around sooner than you think.

Volunteers to run the show are always needed. Please reach out if you have a particular talent you would like to share.

Can't wait 'til June. See you there.

Hope to See You There and Tell Your Friends!

Save The Date – Hummer 2026 is June 25, 26, 27th!
