It’s About Freedom

Biker Rights Talk – Right to Repair & Freedom of Choice “Brothers and sisters, I wanna talk to you straight from the heart—because this isn’t just about tools or laws—it’s about our freedom. You all know the deal—we wrench on our own bikes, we help each other out in the garage, and we keep these machines running not just because we love them, but because it’s our right. That’s why Wisconsin’s AB 135, the Right to Repair Act, matters so damn much.

This bill says if you own it—you should be able to fix it. No locked-out software, no corporate middlemen, no overpriced dealerships gatekeeping our freedom. And it doesn’t stop there—AB 161 is another one we gotta keep our eyes on. It protects our right to ride the kind of bike we choose. Whether it’s gas-powered, electric, old school, or new tech—the government has no business telling us what we can or can’t ride. That decision belongs to us, not politicians, not corporations. On the national level, the Motorcycle Riders Foundation is backing H.R. 1566, the federal Right to Repair bill. Same fight—bigger stage.

They’re pushing to make sure small shops don’t get squeezed out and that we, the riders, the builders, the real people, still have the power to repair and ride what we love. So, what can we do? We show up. We make noise. We talk to our reps, we write the letters, we shake the hands, and we remind them that bikers vote—and bikers don’t forget. Support AB 135. Support AB 161. Get behind H.R. 1566. “Because this ain’t just about bikes—it’s about freedom.”
