ABATE Acres Report

We had a great turnout for land closing weekend and buttoned up the land for the winter months. According to the schedule, the food pavilion should be up and in place by mid-November. Also, the floors in the restroom/shower building should be done by then. ABATE is having them re-coated with a professional, durable, and versatile finish.

Architectural plans for the replacement of the brown palace have been received and will be fine-tuned by the land committee before being presented to the board sometime in early 2026. Once the building is approved, we will have to begin fundraising efforts to get it paid for. ABATE takes pride in following through with the idea that ABATE Acre land improvements will be paid for with donated money so nothing comes out of the general fund to accomplish our goals.
