ABATE Acres Report
It’s warming up for good this time, and things are starting to bustle at the land. In a few weeks we will be in the midst of Land Warming and there are a few projects that need to be done in general and to get our place spruced up and ready for the Hummer – which is next month already! Please come up and join us for the weekend of casual work and some good old-fashioned fun after hours, then stay for the Board meeting on Sunday and see what takes place behind the scenes.
We are looking for a donation of a pool table to stay at the land. One of our members suggested we play a little game during the Hummer which is a variation of sorts from a regular pool game – and not played with cues. You’ll have to check it out at the Hummer. Sounds like it might be fun. Contact Worm if you know of one to donate. We are also looking for donors to sponsor 3 new picnic tables to go under the Food Pavilion. The cost is $360 each. Please let Worm know if you would like to sponsor one.
