ABATE Friendly Establishment Guidelines

Any business has the opportunity to become an ABATE Friendly Establishment. This is an advertising opportunity for members and non-members alike. Your name, address, phone number, and email address will be printed in the ABATE of Wisconsin newsletter for a period of not less than 6 months; however, at the editor’s discretion may run the entire year.

The program begins on March 1st and is guaranteed advertising space until October 30th of the same year.

A drawing is held during the annual meeting weekend in October that includes those businesses that have taken advantage of this program. If the winner drawn is a member, they receive a refund check for the entire cost of their ad or $100. If the winner drawn is not a member, they receive 1/2 of their cost back or $50.

In February of each year, the previous year’s establishments are removed from the dedicated newsletter page to make way for the start of the new program that begins on March 1st.

Application letters are mailed on December 1st of each year to previous businesses in order to allow them the opportunity to continue to be included in this program.

The cost for advertising in this program is $100 per year.
