Bikers Inside The Beltway 2026

What a great honor it was to be one of the representatives from Wisconsin to attend Bikers Inside The Beltway. A group of us left Pleasant Prairie on our motorcycles Sunday Morning, spent the night in Ohio, and arrived at the hotel on Monday in Alexandria, VA. Monday evening the group met to review our talking points for our meetings and obtain the schedule for the meetings.

The MRF Legislative Champion this year was Representative Derrick Van Orden as he understands our issues as he is a motorcyclist as well. Wisconsin now has three recipients for this award, Senator Ron Johnson and Representative Mike Gallagher were past recipients.

Every legislative office was visited by the attendees and presented with a packet of information on priority issues. I visited with Representatives Mark Pocan, Glenn Grothman, and Derrick Van Orden.
