With a full-house turnout, there was once again a lot of good discussion regarding current legislative issues. We also heard positive feedback on the recent Lobby Day training session as well as hearing from Brian Ridgeway regarding efforts on behalf of children with MD and his participation in the Love Ride in California. Upcoming, we have many regional holiday gatherings.

 

Bring in your annual donations for House of Peace for our December meeting, to support their Toy and Food drive to benefit Milwaukee families. Cash and checks made out the House of Peace are also accepted. For more info call Paul at 414-698-7285. Our December meeting will also be our Christmas Potluck Party, so please bring a dish to pass.

1B Meetings: 2nd Sunday of the month 1:30 pm at Lady Luck, 2650 Thelen Ct, Caledonia, WI 53108 (Hwy G & I-94)

 After some good discussion on the recent changes and results of ABATE’s legislative efforts in Wisconsin, we

reminded everyone that Lobby Day is coming in February and be sure you keep the day available! We also got quite

a bit of positive feedback about the recent Lobby Day training session.

 

Our members decided that we will hold a Christmas event at our December meeting, so bring a dish to share. Also, remember that Region 1B is participating with Region 1A in collecting donations for House of Peace this year. This is a food and Toy drive for the House of Peace to benefit local families. Please bring food and new, unopened toys to the December Racine meeting. Cash and checks made out the House of Peace are also accepted. For more info call Paul Vita at 414-698-7285.
