Meetings: 1st Sunday – 1 pm at Jailhouse Saloon, Centerville, WI

 

Welcome to Spring in the Coulee Region! Hope y’all are enjoying the warmer days with some 2 wheeled therapy. Be extra vigilant out there cuz the rest of the motoring public isn’t used to seeing us.

 

Some good news out of Madison and DC to report. Right to Repair legislation has been introduced at both the State and at the Federal level. Fuel choice/availability is also getting some attention in Madison but the conversations weren’t productive. Stay tuned for updates!

 

The new website is up and running. Way to go, Krissy and the rest of those involved!!! Had my son go in and look around with a younger view of things and he commented on the ease of use/navigation - and he liked the graphics. Going forward, I think we have a great tool for our organization.

 

Since there wasn’t a meeting in March for us, I attended the 7D meeting and enjoyed some lively conversations with that bunch. Also, I joined 7E in Necedah for their chili cook off and meeting. The winner used smoked brisket with some burger, which was definitely worth the effort on his part. I then attended the State Board meeting in Wisconsin Rapids on Sunday. I was early, so listened to Committee meetings before the board meeting started. A lot goes on there that starts the ball rolling for ABATE of Wisconsin. I’m even more excited about the work we do because of these dedicated Freedom Fighters in leadership. 

 

Next meeting is April 6th at 1 pm at the Jailhouse in Centerville. Ride safe and see ya there!
