Hi Members,

 

I hope everyone’s doing well.

 

It is now September and ABATE officer elections are in October. I will not be running for any office be it regional or state. It is time for me to step down and let things move along. I’ve spent most of my life being a member of ABATE in one place or the other. I’ll still participate when able as our fight for rights never ends. The reasons for my decision are personal.

 

Unless someone from the region steps up and agrees to run the region, the region will go on hiatus until there are enough people to fill the officer positions and get it going. I’d really like to see it continue as it’s been around a long time. If anyone is interested, please contact me and I’ll fill you in on the particulars. I’m currently working about sixty hours a week but, if you leave me a message I promise to get back to you. Keep your head on a swivel.
