Meetings: 1st Sunday of month at Sunset Tavern in Black River Falls, WI. At 1:30 pm, downstairs

 

Meeting was held 8-2-26 at 1:30 = at Sunset Tavern, BRF. Held the mtg outside under the shelter. Beautiful day. Rich led us in Pledge and MOS. Thanks for the great turnout. I know everyone is busy during the summer. Welcome back Donna and she brought her sister Sara (who we hope joins our efforts.) Gary was unable to attend but our treasury is up to date. Thanks Gary.

 

Short discussion on the past Hummer. Those of us that attended sure had a GREAT time. We all believe that word of mouth is one of the best ways to get more attendance.

 

I brought copies of the survey for Right To Repair. Members present took several copies and are going to take them to shops that we know. We talked about the importance of this. Hope to get a good response. 

 

Lobby Day has a tentative date. Watch the newsletter for more. Elections are coming with the WI primary on Aug 11th. Please be sure to vote. The legislators are out and about campaigning. Talk to them (wear your ABATE gear.) They want your help. Remember your vote does count. ABATE’s own election is underway. Ballot was in the Aug newsletter. This is an important election for our organization. Be assured EVERY vote counts.  We decided no Sept mtg as it falls on Labor Day. Our next mtg is Oct 4 at 1:30 pm. Sunset Tavern, BRF.
