Meetings: 1st Sunday of month at Sunset Tavern in Black River Falls, WI. At 1:30 pm, downstairs

 

March 2 – 2025. We held our monthly mtg at Sunset. Small but VERY enthusiastic crowd. It was great to see some faces we haven't seen in a while. Thanks for coming. Thanks to Clint from Region 7C for taking time to stop by and join us. Discussion about Chili cook-off. We made some money for ABATE. It was decided to donate $500 of the profit to the Marlene Bautch Fund (she was one of ours) and the balance going to the general fund. Thanks to all who helped. Special thanks to Alyssa and Curtis from Sunset for all they did for us.

 

Discussion was held on Lobby Day. Our mtg went very well. Twit got a letter from Sen. Jeff Smith thanking us for coming and representing motorcyclists. Please send an e-mail or write / call your legislators for support on the bills we have introduced - Right to Repair is LRB0007/1 the others can be found in Steve Panten's article. Don't forget to thank them for taking time to meet with us.

 

ABATE Acres land Warming is fast approaching May 16/17. There are projects for young and old (like me) to do. We always make time for some fun also. Don't forget Summer Hummer June 18-22. Sunday is free entry to come watch our very own Shady Glen Band play 1-5 pm.
