The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence for fellow downed bikers, friends, and family given.

 

Discussion was held regarding the letter that was mailed to Wisconsin State Legislators explaining ABATE of Wisconsin's position on LRB-4144/1. If you haven’t done so, please read the letter on the ABATE website.

 

Officer’s training is February 6-8.

Lobby Day is February 17th. Please reach out to Squeaky if you plan to attend, carpooling can be arranged.

 

We strongly encourage you to reach out to your favorite small engine repair shop and discuss the Right to Repair bill and how it affects them. With permission, obtain their contact information and forward that to Steve Panten. Reach out to ATV, snowmobile, and even Yacht clubs as this will affect them as well.

 

The 36th annual Heartland STEAM will be held in Alexandria, MN on March 20-22. If you are interested in attending, there are scholarships available. If interested, reach out to Steve Panten at legis@abatewi.org. If you attend the event and submit a letter about your experience for the newsletter, you could get your room and gas paid for.

 

This is election year, so if you feel you would like to make changes, let it be known that you are interested in being an ABATE officer.

The next court date for Mark Snider will be held 02/10/2026 at 10 am in Courtroom #3 at the Fond du Lac County Courthouse. Please come to show your support for the family.
