In Nov District 1 Director, Mike Halvorsen, attended to present Gene Slinger and Jean Tiedt with a Members of the Year award. Congrats to them both! They are instrumental in keeping this region going. While there, he updated us on the issues to be worked on at the state level. A hat was passed for the Dodge Cty Toy Bank. Thanks to the members that donated for this cause.

 

In Dec we discussed the upcoming Meat Raffle, with a couple of dates and locations mentioned.

 

Gene and Jean will attend Officers training 2/6-8th.

 

Meetings for 2026 have been moved to the Rock River Tap in Horicon at 11 am. Most are the 3rd Sun of each month. Exceptions will be made, if necessary, which means the March meeting will be on the 4th Sun 3/22. Same time and location.

 

Upcoming Events - 2/17 Lobby Day (see newsletter), BOD Meeting 2/8 at Officers Training and 3/8 location to be determined, Region meeting 2/15, Region Meat Raffle 3/28, 2 pm at the Thirsty Beaver in Beaver Dam.
