April 12th the meeting was called to order at NV Corners. Current, new, and non-members were in attendance. General discussion about the issues we continuously are concerned with was held for a small amount of time. All members were encouraged to look into attending the accident scene management basic and advanced classes that were held at the Capitol City Riders Clubhouse on April 25th and 26th. Oddly, the basic class was not filled. This was most definitely a first for us. We are extremely happy with all the people that did sign up and attend. This class is fundamentally one of the best I've attended, and we try to do it every year. Reasons being refresher if you have attended in previous years and secondly the potential of learning something new. This year we definitely achieved both. This year was instructed by Jeff and Amy Koenon. They did an absolutely fantastic job. You could feel the passion both of them have for presenting this training. We thank you both for everything. On Sunday we had the pleasure of having Vicki and Tony Sanfelipo also in attendance. It is such an honor to have the opportunity to have the backbone of the Road Guardians organization in attendance. Their passion and dedication to these events is outstanding. We are all extremely grateful for the hard work you put into teaching us the ways to handle situations that we honestly all hope we never encounter. Taking 8 hours away from a day that could possibly save a life seems well worth it to not only myself, but obviously all the others in attendance.

 

May 3rd will be a meet and greet at the Slimy Crud Run. May 16th we will meet at Club LaMark for breakfast and do a small showing for Motorcycle awareness month. June 7th will be located at NV Corners at 1 pm. July meeting will be on the 12th due to the holiday weekend. August 2nd and September 6th will be at NV Corners at 1 pm. October 4th will be a meet and greet at the Slimy Crud Run. November 1st will be at NV Corners at 1 pm.
