ABATE Report September Meeting

Region 8A/8C

 

We held our September meeting on Sunday the 7th in Argyl at Goodfellas at 1 pm. Once again it was a wonderful day for a ride, and we had a great turn out! Also, Saturday September 6th was the Dairy Days Parade in Platteville. We had a beautiful day to be able to ride bikes in the parade and bring motorcycle awareness to our community again. Had 11 bikes in the parade and plenty of people to hand out candy and ABATE goodies. I want to thank everyone who came out to ride bikes and help hand out candy!!

 

Bikers Stuffing Stockings is November 8th at 6 pm. It will be held at J&J Sandbar in Cassville, Wisconsin. Start getting donations from bars and other businesses, making it a goal of getting it to at least one bar or business and asking for a donation. Or donate a basket yourself. Some ideas are baked goods, gift certificates, booze, bloody mary baskets, etc. Hoping to have a great turn out this year and hope everyone can make it!

 

Upcoming events:

October 4th Lancaster Harvest Parade meeting at Eric Macke’s house time to be determined. Will be posted on Facebook

       October 5th is our Highway Clean up at 11:30 am and meeting to follow at 1 pm at Yoders

       October 10th-12th State Meeting

       November 8th November Meeting at 5 pm-ish? and Bikers Stuffing Stockings at 6 pm

       December 7th meeting at 1 pm at Legends in Darlington
