ABATE Report March Meeting Region 8A/8C

 

Our March Meeting was held on March 1st at 12 pm in Avoca at Whiskey Row. This was also our annual chili cookoff, which had a huge turnout with 10 chili entries for everyone to try. The meeting was held at 1 pm, it was short and sweet.

With the 10 entries, we placed the top three. Third place was tied with Eric Dressler and Mark Baker, second place was Troy Hayward, and first place was Hans Hardtke. Thank you to everyone who brought chili for everyone to taste and thanks to everyone who came to the meeting with hungry bellies to taste test chili.

 

Just a friendly reminder with spring coming up real fast, that when you get your bikes out to check over your bikes before you take them out on the road!

 

Upcoming Events:

April meeting is April 6th which is our highway clean-up day. Highway clean-up will start at 11 am and our meeting will follow at 1pm at Wheeler’s Ellenboro Saloon.

May meeting is May 4th at Sheddy’s in Monfort. This is Motorcycle Awareness month.

June meeting is June 1st at Last Chance in Rewey.

June 19th-22nd is Summer Hummer.

July meeting is July 6th at New Spit and Whistle in Prairie du Chien.
