The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. A moment of silence for veterans, fellow downed bikers, friends, and family given.

Legislation: We continue to strongly encourage everyone to reach out to your favorite small engine repair shop and discuss the Right to Repair bill and how it affects them. Supply them with the survey to submit. This includes yourself if you are one who repairs your own or other’s equipment. Reach out to ATV, snowmobile, and even Yacht clubs, as this will affect them as well.

 

Steve Panten, ABATE of Wisconsin Legislative Committee Chair, sent an email regarding the Survey for the right to repair, please be sure to fill out and share the survey.

 

As of today’s date, our Region has not been contacted regarding the Halfway House parade (it is unknown if they will even have one.) However, we have been invited to provide concessions for the 50+ Men’s and Women’s softball tournament on Saturday, September 12th at Tiger’s Bar & Grill. Please see their Facebook page for more information especially if you would care to participate in the tournament as well. They are always looking for players.

 

SHOPPING: Who doesn’t love shopping? Visit the ABATE of WI website and click on the SHOP tab. Adding ABATE clothing to your wardrobe is beneficial, not only to elicit questions about ABATE but also for when volunteering at events. Show your support for ABATE.
