Meetings: 1st Sunday of the month at Noon

The meeting was called to order, followed by the recitation of the Pledge. A moment of silence was given to downed family and friends as well as those currently serving our country in the military.

 

The final treasury report was given by Jeff. This was his last report as Treasurer. Both Lisa and I have agreed to take over the position until someone agrees to take it over. Thank you, Jeff, for keeping our numbers straight.

 

Legislative report was given by Don. The Right to Repair Bill will not be getting a public hearing. Apparently, it's felt that those who are able to fix their own things do not need to be heard.

 

The Autonomous Vehicle Bill finally had a public hearing. Several speakers were heard.

 

Raffle tickets are available for The Kooler Kart Raffle and The Summer Cash Raffle. Winners will be drawn at the Summer Hummer. See Squeaky for more information and/or to purchase tickets.

 

The Summer Hummer will be held at ABATE Acres on June 25-28. This is a great time to meet and greet some new people, have some fun, and win some prizes. We also discussed National Night Out. Squeaky will inquire with the local police departments to see who may be hosting events in our area so we can show up in force. Stay tuned!

 

For those who have been following the Mark Snider case, he was found incompetent to stand trial as of his last hearing. Therefore, he will remain in custody and will be undergoing psychiatric treatment. Thank you to all who continue to show Eli's family support by attending the hearings.
