Meetings: 1st Sunday of the month at Noon

No meeting was held in February for 2C/2B due to Officer’s Training in Marshfield, WI. What a weekend that was. This was our first time going to Officer’s Training and it was super informative. We met a lot of great new people and finally were able to put faces to the names. Everyone was so helpful.

 

A big SHOUTOUT to Marie, Betty, Laurie and Krissy, who were the 4 people Lisa and I bugged all weekend with any and all questions we had.

 

There were many very important topics discussed. All legislative information can be found on the ABATE website. Don’t forget to share any and all information with your friends and family – especially the Call-to-Action emails. It takes less than 30 seconds to fill it out and send it on its way. These are super important.

 

By now, you should be tired of having your rights taken away one way or another or being told what you can and/or cannot drive due to fuel choice. The government should respect us as their constituents and not be allowed to make choices for us. “Where there is force, there can be no choice” (John Locke (1632–1704). Think about that when you are fueling up. Think about that when your favorite local mechanic can no longer work on your motorcycle, car, snowmobile, garden tractor, or even a 4-wheeler. Think about that when you are rear-ended by an autonomous vehicle because there was not enough testing done to recognize a motorcycle.

 

Land warming is coming up on May 15th to 17th. Summer Hummer is June 25th – 28th.

 

Meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month. If you have not already done so, join the ABATE 2C Facebook page. Any meeting changes/updates will be posted here. Meetings will be scheduled at various places. This allows others to attend if the meetings are closer to their home location. Carpooling is always an option; you only need to ask.
