Meetings: Walworth County ABATE meetings held on the 1st Sunday of each month unless otherwise notified in

advance.

 

ABATE meeting minutes for April/May 2025.

 

Meetings are held monthly at: The Elkhorn Saloon, 9 E. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI. 53121.

Meetings began with the Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Silence for our fallen brothers and sisters.

 

Walworth County ABATE Region 1-C continues to see our numbers increase at our meetings.

Thank you, members, for your continued fellowship and to the ones who are accepting the invitations to join us! Knowing what our organization is, what we represent, understanding the issues we are passionate about, and how this affects us all, are the conversations we are sharing that are generating a buzz about our community.

 

Be one, Bring one, is really getting some traction that we want to continue in the days and months ahead. We all hope to add a new member each from each existing member this year.

 

The organization of our volunteers to get the Fun Runs scheduled and planned continues. Volunteer members are stepping up to the plate as Road Captains have been chosen to work with Regional representative Don Parsons planning out routes. Runs to take place after monthly meetings.

 

Ticket sales for Summer Hummer and Bar Stool racer continue. A new Calendar Raffle card for

drawings have been introduced; interest and sales will be anticipated.

 

June 1st meeting will have our drawing for New Members who have never been to the Summer Hummer coming up June 19-22, 2025. New members planning to attend remember your $10.00 discount coupon you received with your Welcome package and get your savings on an advanced ticket!

 

A special Thank you to Area Rep Jackie for our road signs for yards. See Don Parsons if you would like to get one.

 

Special thanks to Lifetime member Justin Ehrhardt for the special Saturday Meet and Greet at his Elkhorn Saloon. It was a great time with cold drinks, great food and great company!

 

Special Thanks to the management of The Whiskey Ranch in Delavan for accommodating us time and space to promote our ABATE Summer Hummer posters.
