ABATE Meeting Minutes March 2nd, 2025
Welcome Back Walworth County!
11 am meeting begins with 10 members present at Elkhorn Saloon. We begin with the Pledge Of Allegiance and
a Moment of Silence for our fallen brothers and sisters.
Regional Representative Don Parsons, Jr. leading today's meeting, with a warm welcome to all present and announcing
that we have gained 2 additional members for Walworth County. While we are excited to add additional brothers
and sisters to our ABATE family, let’s challenge ourselves to not only BE an ABATE member, but to BRING one
member into the organization this year. Be One - Bring One has begun! Let's work on growth and expansion.
We discussed future meeting dates and heard feedback from our members. Based on this, and in consideration of our
gracious Host and owner of the Elkhorn Saloon and ABATE lifetime member Justin Ernhart, we have decided to
continue the First Sunday of every month. This works well for all of us, and this shall remain so for Walworth
County.
Warmer weather will soon be upon us, and this brings us to various activities we want to coordinate. Activities such
as organizing our Bike Runs were discussed. Members discussed mapping out several runs we could make.
Volunteers to help plan routes and reach out to Law Enforcement agencies were acknowledged. Plans to be more
defined by our April meeting. We also would like to get increased memberships into Junior Patriots for our younger
ones as they also represent our future memberships and leadership in ABATE overall.
Summer Hummer plans discussed. Posters were given out for placement to increase promotion of this wonderful
event. Enthusiasm is high and we look forward to increasing participation this year!
Lots of members working behind the scenes to increase our presence and purpose in Walworth County. We thank
everyone for the work they are doing to make ABATE a very visible success in our county.
Bring a friend to our next meeting on April 6th and let's get ready for a very wonderful and safe summer doing what we all
love to do!
Meeting ends 12:25 pm
