Hey all -

 

May was another busy month for 2E. We started off with our Motorcycle Awareness Rally on the 3rd at the corner of HWY 57 & E. We got lots of honks and thumbs up. Thank you Country Visions for allowing us to use your property. We also took the opportunity to create a video for Facebook to help spread our awareness message. Thank you to all who made it out and helped.

 

After the rally we headed to Schumacher's Shanty. Thank you Jodi & Jim for hosting us and providing snacks. We recapped the Awareness Rally for those who weren't there. Then we also finalized plans for the Get Your Wheels On Bike & Car Show. We talked about the Summer Freedom Ride. Susie is helping keep the Facebook page updated on stop updates & road construction. We talked about upcoming community events over the summer. We also did some planning for the Land Warming and Summer Hummer.

 

Steve made it up to Land Warming and was excited about what all got done and plans for the future. I talked to Worm at the board meeting Sunday and he was very thankful for all the help. 47 people had signed in. Thank you to all who made the trip and worked at the land.

 

On May 23rd we held our Get Your Wheels On Bike & Car Show at The Smiling Moose Saloon & Grill. The bourbon worked again! Thank you to Cheryl and her team. They have been amazing hosts for the last few years! Thank you Alimony Blue Band for playing again. Thank you to our committee & volunteers who made this happen again: Steve, Susie, Scott, Karen, Jason, Alison, April, Terry, Chad, Paula, & Jill. This group really lightens the load for me and made this a success. Thank you to our sponsors: The Smiling Moose, Hoban Brothers Motorcycles, Jiggers Auto Repair & Towing, Wild Corgi Resale, & State Bank of Chilton. Thank you to all the businesses and people who donated items for our basket raffles & silent auctions. And THANK YOU to all who came out to the show. We hope you enjoyed the day!

Our next meeting will also be our bike blessing, so we hope to see you all June 7th at Rocky & Tara's Nut Haus in Dundas.
