Meetings: See Text

 

We held our January meeting at the Cimarron. Thank you, John & Team, for opening up a little early for us with the Packer game at noon. We started off the meeting with Membership. We got another renewal at the meeting and are currently looking for a Membership Rep. If you are interested, please reach out to Krissy.

 

Next Danno talked about the calls he has been making to schedule meetings for Lobby Day. We have 4 people in 1 vehicle and 2 in another as of now. Members interested in attending Lobby Day can also ride down on the Route 5 or 6 buses which are scheduled to arrive around 11. Our 1st meeting is scheduled at 9:45 because in the afternoon, legislators will be in Session. The vehicles will be leaving from the State Bank of Chilton parking lot in Sherwood at 6:45 am on the 17th. Please bring your breakfast/drinks. There will be some snacks provided and 1 bathroom stop along the way. Currently the last meeting is scheduled to start at 12:30 pm and if needed, we will stay to visit legislators not already visited. We will leave by 3 pm with an expected 5 pm return. If you plan to drive down with us, please reach out to Krissy for proper planning.

 

After Lobby Day we discussed the Treasury Report and had our updates from our Area Reps. We talked about the Summer Freedom Ride. All of the intended businesses have been given information. Payment & forms are due by February 1st. Krissy will do follow-up calls as time permits. The plan is to have the books & signs available for delivery at the March meeting. All books & signs should be delivered by March 31st. We have quite a few new businesses in the book this year. Should be a fun summer! From there we went on to talk about the Meat Raffle that will start at 1:15 pm after our meeting at Bobbers Bar on March 1st. As a Region we passed the hat and renewed our MRF Sustaining Membership. We also talked about the Sweetheart Cash Raffle tickets. Last chance to get them is at our February 1st meeting. After Officer Training, we'll have the Kooler Kart Raffle Tickets, Summer Hummer Tickets, & Summer Cash Raffle Tickets. They'll be available at the Meat Raffle. And maybe if we ask Jason nicely, he'll bring the Kooler Kart so you can see how KOOL this thing is. ;)

 

Right now, members are all busy making reminder visits and preparing for the events over the next few months. We would love to see you stop out at 1 of our upcoming events. Bring a friend as well.
