Hey all -

 

We sure have been busy in 2E! On July 27th Jason, Alison, & Krissy had a booth with "Rusty" at the Calumet Night Out in Calumet County. Then on August 4th Krissy had a booth at the Outagamie County National Night Out. And on the 7th Jason, Alison, & Krissy were at the Brillion/Reedsville National Night Out with "Rusty" again. It was a blast giving kids tattoos, watching them sit on the bike, and letting people know about ABATE. Their smiles gave us smiles!

 

On August 2nd we had our monthly meeting at Warrant 5896 Saloon & Chow (formerly Otter Creek Sports Bar & Grill) in Hortonville. Officers provided reports. We talked about the Summer Freedom Ride Party and had some updates on establishments that have changed ownership & hours. We hope you are all having a great summer getting stops in the books. We also planned for the National Night Out & Hortonville Commercial Club community events. We talked a little about the Family Campout & the Region 2E Campout coming up at ABATE Acres.

 

Mary "Sweets" & Krissy helped out the Hortonville Commercial Club by selling koozies at their Annual Bike Raffle. In exchange they let us hand out ABATE info and spread the message. We appreciate the opportunity and had some really good conversations.

 

August 11th was Election Day, so I sure hope you all made it to the polls. There are a lot of important issues facing us and it’s important to get to know your candidates, get to the polls, and vote motorcycle!

 

Our next meeting will be our Region 2E Elections at Bowe's Boulevard on September 12th. The meeting was moved a weekend later due to Labor Day. In October the State Officer & Board At Large Elections will take place at the Annual Meeting. Make sure to cast your votes.
