Meetings: See Text

 

We had a great meeting at Whistle Inn in Nichols. It was awesome to have 3 new members with us and see a few faces we haven't seen in a while. Several of the people who went to Lobby Day talked about the success of the day. We also went over Officer Training, the Membership Programs, and the Marketing updates. Then we reviewed exposure at the Mama Tried the weekend before. It was good to hear feedback from people who saw us there. Thank you to Hupy & Abraham for allowing ABATE to share their booth. 

 

At the meeting we also talked about the upcoming Get Your Wheels On Bike and Car Show and the Summer Freedom Ride. I hadn't quite had all the materials printed yet, so we met for a committee meeting on the 15th at The Smiling Moose and used that for distribution to volunteers. Big shout out to John & Benita, Dan, Steve & Susie, April & Terry, Pete & Jill, Chad & Paula, & Rick for taking posters & books. That group and I split up the 109 stops and have been busy delivering posters for the Bike & Car show, Summer Freedom Ride, & Summer Hummer to all the stops. We should be done before April 1st. I encourage everyone to get a book or 2 from one of the establishments selling. See the listing separately in the newsletter and on our Facebook page. I also have some extra books, but I encourage you to buy from an establishment 1st. Support them for supporting us! 

 

As part of the supply orders this year we decided to order extra yard signs. I have the stash, and they are available for sale for $10 each. I'll have them at the April Meeting so stop in and get one. 

 

Also, your friendly reminder to get to the polls on April 1st and vote. It's a big election and every vote matters!

As the warm weather is starting, please be careful. There is still sand & salt on the roads and not everyone is expecting us out there yet. And unfortunately, there are also lots of crazy road rage drivers out there. Ride Safe Friends!
