Meetings are the FIRST Sunday of the month at 1 pm at the Snider Richardson American Legion Post 273 in Grand Marsh, WI.

Meetings will be held on the following dates for 2026 at 1 pm at the Snider Richardson American Legion Post 273 in Grand Marsh, WI unless otherwise noted. Sunday, March 1; Saturday, April 11; Sunday, May 3; Sunday, June 7; Saturday, July 11; Sunday, August 2 - will be at NOON and will be family cookout; NO meeting in September; Sunday, October 4 - Regional Rep election will take place; Sunday, November 1; and Sunday, December 6.

 

Meeting was called to order by our Regional Rep Tim, followed by the Pledge and a Moment of Silence for our downed brothers, sisters and those in harm’s way. We had 14 members and a junior patriot in attendance.

 

January meeting minutes/secretary report was printed on the back of the agenda for the members to read. It was accepted and approved. Barb gave the treasurer’s report. It was accepted and approved. Rick reported for membership that we have 56 members and 1 Junior Patriot. We need to continue to work on getting new members. Products are available at abatewis.org; make sure to check the size chart for each product, sizes may vary by brand. There was nothing new to report for Share The Road or from the Area Rep. Brenda shared that there was a public hearing on Tuesday, February 3rd for AB 848 (Autonomous Level 4 and 5 modes) and announced that Lobby Day is Tuesday, February 17th. Get your shirts ordered and check the newsletter for the bus schedule.

 

No old business was discussed.

 

New business:

Officers' training will be February 6-8 in Marshfield.

Motorcycle profiling survey is available for 2026. Went over the reason for the survey and had everyone present do the survey.

 

Cabin Fever will be May 30th, and we will be starting from Family Affair Restaurant in Friendship, WI. It will be about a 100-mile ride with a raffle at each stop and bucket raffles at the end of the ride.

 

Events that were mentioned: Summer Hummer June 25-27. MOTM for 2026 will be hosted by ABATE of WI and will be September 24-27. BOD meetings are the second Sunday of the month. There are numerous events going on. Check your newsletter for more details.

 

Mary won $68 with the 50/50 drawing.

 

Bob Bean lost $215 for the membership drawing. Just a reminder that you must be present at the meeting and present the month prior to win the membership drawing.
