Meetings are the FIRST Sunday of the month at 1 pm at the Snider Richardson American Legion Post 273 in Grand Marsh, WI.

 

It was discussed at the March meeting and was decided that the meeting will remain at the Snider Richardson American Legion Post and will not move to other locations during the summer months.

 

Meeting was called to order by our Regional Rep. Tim, followed by the Pledge and a Moment of Silence for our downed brothers and sisters. We had 16 members and 2 guests in attendance.

 

February meeting minutes/Secretary report was printed on the back of the agenda for the members to read. It was accepted and approved. Barb gave the Treasurer’s report, and it was accepted and approved. Our membership officer passed and with Rick just volunteering to take over as our membership officer, the only report that we had is there was 1 new membership turned in. Don reported for products that at this time we do not have any products. Everything was turned in at Officer’s Training and nothing was redistributed. There was nothing new to report for Share The Road or from the Area Rep. for legislation.

 

John W talked about Lobby Day; Rich, Don and John went to Lobby Day.

 

We have tickets to sell for a motorized bar stool to raise money for ABATE. If interested, see Tim. We also have advance Summer Hummer tickets available until June 11th. See Brenda for those tickets.

 

Mark your calendars: Motorcycle Awareness Month is May, and we will be at Mid-State in Adams 9-11 and in Oxford at the station down by the bank (Cty A and 82) 1-3 pm with signs and brochures.

 

Voted on a design for Cabin Fever shirts.

 

Mentioned that the March Board of Directors Meeting will be held on the 9th at the VFW in Wisconsin Rapids.

 

Motion was made by Tim that instead of doing a 50/50 drawing, the money would go to the family of Poncho due to his passing; Rocky seconded the motion with all in favor. Poncho's family received $131.00.

 

Bob Ellefson lost $139.50 for the membership drawing. Just a friendly reminder that you must be PRESENT at the meeting and the month prior to win the membership drawing.
