Share The Road is a motorcycle awareness program that promotes driver awareness and increases understanding of how motorcycles behave in traffic. We hope to make drivers aware of their responsibilities toward other vehicles on the road…in particular motorcycles. Topics include: Seeing vs. Perception; Visibility; Lane Positioning; Following Distance; and Passing. ABATE of Wisconsin provides trained volunteers to present this program. We believe that education and training are the best ways to prevent and thereby reduce motorcycle / automobile crashes. We also believe that crash prevention is the key to reducing injuries and fatalities on our nations' highways.
