ABATE of Wisconsin, Inc. Imparied Rider Prevention Program
Mission Statement

ABATE of Wisconsin is working to educate the motorcycling community about the effects of riding impaired.

Every year approximately 42% of the motorcycle crashes and fatalities in Wisconsin involve alcohol. These crashes, injuries, and fatalities are preventable.

ABATE of Wisconsin encourages all riders to "THINK" about the consequences of riding impaired.

The riding community needs to come together to reduce alcohol impaired riding. Without your help we risk government intervention which could lead to lowering the legal B.A.C. (blood alcohol content) for motorcyclists, bike confiscations, and possible calls for mandatory helmet laws.

Accidents and Fatalities by County

The ABATE of Wisconsin, Inc. Highway Safety Committee is currently focusing its public education efforts within the motorcycling community in the counties that have experienced the highest incidents of motorcycle fatalities and alcohol involved motorcycle crashes in recent years.
